LifeMinders, Herndon, VA, and Air2Web yesterday announced that Air2Web would be the first wireless ASP to distribute LifeMinders wireless personalization technology to its wireless carrier and business customer base.
Through the agreement Air2Web will bundle LifeMinders’ direct marketing infrastructure, which will include data warehousing and its proprietary personalization process, with Air2Web’s wireless backbone.
According to LifeMinders, the deal will combine its direct marketing infrastructure with the wireless platform of Air2Web, resulting in a highly personalized wireless Internet product to be deployed to Air2Web’s carrier and portal clients.
LifeMinders currently offers severe weather alerts and ZIP code-specific forecasts to its wireless members. By working with Air2Web, it will extend that offering to the delivery of additional LifeMinders.com categories including personal events, horoscope and stock alerts.
