It is not often I write a letter to an editor, maybe once every five years. However, I just finished reading every page of the Direct Marketer’s Essential Guide to Search Engine Marketing, and I wanted to personally thank DM News for all the effort in putting the guide together.
Even though my company, Boston Proper, is now on its fourth-generation Web site, I found the guide to be packed full of new ideas and thought stimuli regarding search engine marketing. In addition, it provided the names of many bright and interesting people to contact.
As a catalog entrepreneur whose business has evolved to 40-plus percent on the Web, the compilation of articles was very exciting because it illuminated a new way of finding customers where you can calculate a return on your investment. I loved the guide, found it thought provoking and will encourage my management team to read it.
