Lands’ End president/CEO David Dyer is leaving the company Aug. 8, according to wire reports last week. Dyer joined Lands’ End in 1998. During that time, net income increased from $31.2 million in fiscal year 1999 to $66.9 million in fiscal year 2002. It had $1.6 billion in revenue last year. Dyer told his staff on Wednesday, the Chicago Tribune said. Three current executives will run the company under a newly created Office of the President, the Tribune reported. Sears, Roebuck and Co. spokesman Chris Brathwaite told AP that officials were pleased that Dyer stayed on for a year after the company bought Lands’ End for $1.9 billion.
