Lanctot will oversee the identification of company investments, collaboration with Publicis sister agencies, and the management of media clients, according to a Razorfish statement.
Lanctot originally joined the company in 1999 when it was named Avenue A. A decade later, he joined Microsoft Corp. as managing director of advertiser and publisher solutions after the technology company sold Razorfish to Publicis. Lanctot left Microsoft in February.
Sheraton Hotels & Resorts named Razorfish its AOR in March. The shop’s clients include Carnival Cruise Lines, MillerCoors and Levi Strauss & Co.
A Razorfish representative was not immediately available for comment.
