Kintera Inc., a provider of software and services to nonprofits, said yesterday that it partnered with the Association of Fundraising Professionals to provide the 26,000-member group with Internet technology.
Kintera, San Diego, will offer its Kintera Sphere enterprise-level platform to the international nonprofit organization and its more than 170 chapters in the United States, Canada, Mexico and East Asia.
AFP, Alexandria, VA, will use the software to redesign and enhance its Web site (www.afpnet.org). The site provides members with news, information, updates and analysis from the nonprofit sector, the fundraising profession and AFP. Through the Web site, members can take courses online, participate in forums and online discussions and renew their membership, among other activities.
AFP will provide Kintera's software to its chapters on a phased basis. Kintera's online solutions will include a template-driven Web site for the chapters, member login area, contact relationship management, membership management, event management and payment processing capabilities.
