Buca Inc., which owns the Buca di Beppo chain of restaurants, has selected Kerker Marketing Communications to handle its $4 million account.
An independently owned, full-service agency in business for 50 years, Kerker has been charged with creating and executing a national and local-market brand-building campaign for its client.
Buca, Minneapolis, has 50 southern Italian restaurants in 18 states and the District of Columbia.
Kerker, Minneapolis — which will use a combination of direct marketing, advertising and public relations to increase awareness of the Buca brand — responded to Buca's request-for-proposal by sending information in a suckling pig sprawled in a red wagon.
