Kellogg Extends Corn Pops Radio Campaign to Web

Cereal maker Kellogg Co. will extend its radio branding campaign for Corn Pops to the Internet with a series of Flash animation online ads targeted at teen-agers.

The campaign by advertising agency Starcom IP will run across the Mplayer Entertainment Network, including sites such as FilePlanet.com for game downloads.

Through Flash banners and buttons, consumers can visit these sites to view 15-second or 60-second Webisodes. Visitors also can vote for their favorite spots, e-mail them to friends and enter a sweepstakes for concert tickets.

Mplayer's GameSpy Arcade will show Webisodes as visitors download games and before they play. Also, the Corn Pops sweepstakes site will appear in the Arcade Webviewer as players chat by audio. This removes the need for click throughs and the delivery of guaranteed traffic.
