Automotive parts cataloger JC Whitney & Co. Inc., LaSalle, IL, has formed a partnership with J.D. Power Clubs, a service for consumers who are purchasing cars.
Under the terms of the agreement, the carclub.com division of J.D. Power Club is expected to operate a co-branded JC Whitney car club, offering JC Whitney's customers automotive information and resources.
The companies anticipate that the alliance will provide customers with services such as car selection assistance, insurance, maintenance and selling customers' used cars.
The JC Whitney car club members will have access to carclub.com's member benefits, including savings on gasoline, a repair estimates advice hotline, a 24-hour driving directions service and discounted merchandise.
