JC Penney Awards $300M Contract Extension to Donnelley

JC Penney extended R.R. Donnelley’s contract for catalog production and pre-media services in a $300 million deal between the two companies, Donnelley announced yesterday.

In addition, R.R. Donnelley Logistics will provide logistical services and Moore Wallace will provide JC Penney with forms, labels, commercial printing and pick-and-pack distribution services. Moore Wallace became an R.R. Donnelley company in March as the result of a merger.

The new contract will extend Donnelley’s relationship with JC Penney “far into the future,” Donnelley CEO Mark A. Angelson said in a statement. He described the contract as multi-year but did not specify its length.
