On-demand e-mail provider JangoMail debuts triggers to its Web-based e-mail marketing application.
JangoMail, Dayton, OH, designed triggers to let users send timed and automated follow-up e-mails to recipients based on the actions of previous e-mail campaigns.
The applications available in triggers include offering customer service to recipients who show interest in a product by clicking a link in an e-mail to the product’s Web page.
JangoMail clients also can send information to recipients who have shown interest in the company by opening or clicking a link in an e-mail. And the triggers let users send a thank-you e-mail to recipients who have purchased from the client’s site.
Triggers can be seen at www.jangomail.com along with other existing JangoMail services. The other services include dynamic messaging, a personalized content service; embedded URLs, a real time Web link for e-mail; and behavioral targeting, which sends e-mails to recipients based on past behaviors.
