Internet World Postponed Until December

Penton Media, Darien, CT, announced yesterday that its Internet World Fall 2001 conference has been postponed.

The conference was originally scheduled to run in New York's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from Oct. 1 to Oct. 5.

Now it is scheduled to be held in the Javits Center from Dec. 10 to Dec. 13, co-located with another Penton conference, Streaming Media East.

“Our first and gut response to the tragedy was that business must continue, and the show must go on,” Courtney Miller, vice president of domestic Internet World events said in a statement. “However, … we now believe that producing Internet World Fall 2001 is simply too soon.”
