InfoUSA wins Lockheed Martin business

Defense and aeronautical giant Lockheed Martin has handed database services firm infoUSA a long-term contract to supply data for its address recognition technology.

The agreement calls for infoUSA, Omaha, to provide Lockheed Martin Distribution Technologies with business and consumer data that will be used to sort First-Class Mail for the U.S. Postal Service.

This assignment indicates Lockheed Martin’s desire to improve the speed, accuracy and certainty of its First-Class Mail delivery, infoUSA said.

Lockheed Martin has had a decade-long relationship with the U.S. Postal Service in terms of address recognition.
