InfoUSA said it is launching a multimillion dollar advertising campaign to showcase Salesgenie.com, its new Web service, during Super Bowl XLI on Feb. 4 on the CBS Television Network.
Omaha, NE-based InfoUSA, a provider of sales leads and mailing lists, said the deal includes a 30 second spot to air during the first half of the game. In addition, InfoUSA will be the presenting sponsor of the pre-game broadcast called “The Super Bowl Today Presented by Salesgenie.com.” The show will air from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m., EST.
The Salesgenie.com campaign marks the first time InfoUSA has used the Super Bowl to advertise, and this guarantees that the new Web service — a subscription service providing salespeople and small businesses unlimited access to sales leads, mailing lists and business credit reports — will be seen by the more than 140 million viewers who are expected watch the game.
The commercial was conceived and produced in-house, and it can be seen online at www.salesgenie.com/tv. Visitors to the site also can take advantage of trial offers and discounted pricing for the Salesgenie.com service. In addition, visitors are invited to submit ideas for its next Super Bowl commercial, and the winning idea will receive a prize.
Vin Gupta chairman/CEO of InfoUSA said he would read every Super Bowl idea.
