InfoUSA launches b-to-b database

Yesterday, InfoUSA’s services group launched a new business-to-business co-op database at the DMA 07 Conference and Exhibition called LexBase.
Boasting 75 million unduplicated names from more than 1,800 b-to-b mailing lists, LexBase offers customers the ability to perform multichannel campaigns by providing phone numbers in addition to 15 million e-mail addresses.
“Many of our clients are looking to do multichannel campaigns these days,” said Stevan Roberts, administrator for Lexbase. For example, b-to-b catalogers are sending out e-mails prior to or after dropping a catalog, getting better results than when they mail the catalog by itself.
LexBase was in development for more than a year. It represents a multimillion dollar investment on behalf of InfoUSA’s services group, which is comprised of Edith Roman, Walter Karl and Donnelly Marketing.
The database offers deep penetration into each company’s personnel, providing everything from corporate, middle and line management to data processing, HR, sales, marketing and other personnel. Additional attributes include prior history of responding by mail, buying influences, recency, frequency, monetary and other indicators.
Other benefits of the database include free benchmark reports, the ability for customers to choose records without having to contribute to the database, no charge for selects and the ability to license the database for unlimited use.
