InfoUSA, a business and consumer information products provider, said yesterday that it acquired City Publishing Co.
City Publishing, Independence, KS, produces consumer and business cross-reference directories for about 100 metropolitan markets in print and CD-ROM formats. It has been in business more than 50 years.
InfoUSA, Omaha, NE, said it would integrate City Publishing with Hill-Donnelly Directory Co., which it bought in late June. Hill-Donnelly produces more than 230 cross-reference directories in print and CD-ROM formats annually.
Hill-Donnelly president Lee Hill III will run the integrated operation, which will offer its combined customer base sales leads and other marketing products from infoUSA through CD-ROM and the Internet.
