Infocision Opens Bilingual Call Center in Ohio

Infocision opened a bilingual call center in Youngstown, OH, to provide volunteer recruitment services, the company said Friday.

The center has 90 employees, including 82 telephone agents. Hiring is not complete. Infocision, Akron, OH, is a teleservices agency active in nonprofit calling.

In Youngstown, 5.2 percent of the population is Hispanic, while the population of nearby Campbell, OH, is 11 percent Hispanic. Ohio's total population is 1.9 percent Hispanic.

Infocision is working with the local Organizacion Civica y Cultural Hispana America to aid in its staffing efforts, the company said.
