David Daniels, a key player in the e-mail marketing space, has left his post as VP/principal analyst at Forrester Research. According to Daniels, he will continue on in the e-mail field as a consultant and working on his next book on e-mail marketing. Daniels is co-author of the book “Email Marketing: An Hour a Day,” published by Wiley.
Forrester would not comment on Daniels’ departure, but they did confirm that Shar VanBoskirk, Forrester analyst who formerly covered just e-mail but now covers digital marketing in general, will take over Daniels’ role.
Daniels came to Forrester in 2008, when Jupiter Media was acquired by Forrester.
