E-mail service providers are getting more and more hands on with their clients. Whether it is CheetahMail focusing on its client services, or e-Dialog detailing their role in strategy for each and every e-mail campaign, it seems like the ESP is becoming more like an ad agency for e-mail.
Following this note, this week StrongMail Systems UK has announced a new branch of its company called StrongMail Strategic Services.
The new arm of the company will focus on strategic and creative services to help improve e-mail marketing ROI for their customers. The group, whose clients include Fox Sports Interactive, will help brands set up e-mail programs, consult on best practices and help with strategy.
The new arm has three main programs. StrongMove manages the transition of existing e-mail programs to StrongMail including the migration of data and connecting all lists, updating unsubscribes, opt outs and links, as well as creating templates. StrongResults will audit a company’s marketing and transactional e-mail program with analysis and recommendations for optimizing messaging, design, list segmentation and testing strategies. StrongPractices is all about training marketers in best practices and educates on topics such as deliverability, sender reputation and CAN-SPAM compliance.
This all comes as StrongMail continues to grow its service internationally. Last year the e-mail service provider opened this UK office in a move to grow its presence in Europe. The ESP has also partnered with FusionWare as a reseller of its e-mail services in Australia. And there has been some whispering about a StrongMail office in the Asia Pacific region.
