Imation Corp., a data storage and information management company, yesterday signed a deal with FFWD Inc., an online e-commerce provider, to start an online and offline rewards program labeled Rewards Imation Program.
The program allows members to earn points when they buy computer related products on the site, http://rip.imation.com, including color printers, computer software, and computer hardware. Points, which vary based on purchase, can be redeemed for merchandise such as CDs, DVDs, digital cameras and software.
The Imation program also includes features such as an online sweepstakes program and an online “survey and contact” program. The survey program sends information through FFWD's e-mail engine to members about new promotions on the site and collects feedback on current services.
Through the partnership FFWD, Pittsburgh, will also provide Imation, Oakdale, MN, with Web site development services, call center support and online fulfillment.
