iMarketing News Lines Up Columnists, Prepares for March 26 Launch

iMarketing News, the newspaper of e-business and Internet commerce, has received commitments for editorial contributions from a who's who list of i-marketing experts as it gets ready for its March 26 debut.

Seth Godin, vice president of direct marketing at Yahoo, Santa Clara, CA, will write a regular column on permission marketing, an online marketing method he pioneered as president of Yoyodyne Entertainment that delivered mega-results for clients like H&R Block. Mark Kvamme, chairman of Internet and marketing services firm USWeb/CKS Corp., Santa Clara, CA, and Kathy Biro, president of online agency Strategic Interactive Group, Boston, will share a column, Making the E-Transition, that will offer insight into going from traditional marketing to electronic selling.

Also contributing will be Mark Grimes, president of online ad agency Eyescream Interactive, Portland, OR, and Danny Flamberg, executive vice president and director of direct marketing at Ammirati Puris Lintas, New York.

iMarketing News, from the publishers of DM News, will be sent to a controlled circulation of more than 45,000 e-commerce practitioners and direct marketers. It will provide professional news and feature coverage of the practitioners and suppliers of e-commerce and the growing acceptance of Internet marketing by consumers and businesses. The first of a regular series of special reports, in March, will be on e-mail marketing and e-mail lists. Other reports will deal with online cataloging and retailing, e-commerce software and solutions and banner ad targeting and networks.
