Icrossing Follows Ad:tech With Search Event for Its Clients

CHICAGO–It is becoming awfully easy and useful for those in the know: Nothing like observing the success of an online marketing conference and deciding to launch one of your own.

The latest company to plan its own meet-greet-seat event is icrossing, which is newly flush with a $13 million investment and a tagline changed to “The Agency. The Technology.”

Today and tomorrow, some attendees from Ad:tech Chicago will attend “Madison Ave Plans for Search.” The client-only conference offers insights into search engine marketing and how to plan their 2006 strategy with the respective icrossing team.

The New York company kicks off today's sessions with a keynote making the case for search. Other sessions focus in search data, paid media, natural search, content services and international and local search. Tomorrow is devoted to pre-scheduled meetings with the respective icrossing teams.

About two dozen companies are expected to attend the Chicago event.

Icrossing's clients on the West Coast can expect the same treatment July 20-21 and those in New York on July 27-28.

“We're doing it as a private event for our clients,” said David Berkowitz, director of marketing at icrossing. “For us, we're seeing that clients are starting to see how search engine marketing can fit into their long-term marketing plans.”
