iConvention LLC yesterday announced the launch of its Web site, which will allow trade convention attendees to evaluate exhibits prior to viewing them in person.
The Web site, www.iconvention.com, provides the attendees with schedules and maps of the conference, as well as video presentations contributed by exhibitors. The Web site also offers an appointment program that allows attendees to set up meetings at exhibits that interest them the most.
Robin Droppa, president of the Citrus Heights firm, said her site provides conference attendees with easy access to event information, which would allow convention organizers and exhibitors to use www.iconvention.com for creating and maintaining interest in their products. She said her site also would be lucrative to “associations and other event producers (that) have struggled to find effective ways to bring their existing events online.”
Droppa said her firm has signed on with a number of industrial products conventions so far but was considering the idea of seeking contractual relationships with organizations like the Direct Marketers Association.
