The Hudson Valley Direct Marketing Association honored Martin Edelston, president/founder of Boardroom Inc., Stamford, CT, at its holiday party Friday in Greenwich, CT.
Edelston received the HVDMA's 3rd Annual Founders Award for his years of service in direct marketing. Boardroom publishes the Bottom Line Personal, Bottom Line Health, Bottom Line Tomorrow and Tax Hotline newsletters as well as several book titles.
Brian Kurtz and Marjory Abrams of Boardroom, Dave Florence of Direct Media and Laura Smith of RMI Direct Marketing offered praise for Edelston at the event.
The HVDMA also awarded two scholarships to graduate students in the direct marketing program at Mercy College. This year's recipients were Angela Casarella of Plus Media and Cheryl Trecoske of Gentex Corp.
