Howard Draft, chairman/CEO of his self-named direct marketing and promotions agency, has been appointed 2005-06 general chair of the John Caples International Awards.
Caples is one of the top three international direct and interactive marketing awards, along with the Direct Marketing Association's Echo and the London-based International Advertising Festival's Cannes Lions.
Draft has served in leadership positions in all three awards.
The award was named for John Caples, a famed BBDO copywriter.
