After the success of the the ‘telekinetic girl’ prank it developed for the movie Carrie, marketing agency Thinkmodo is terrorizing New Yorkers again with another prank to promote the upcoming horror flick Devil’s Due.
The movie, which is about the coming of the Antichrist in the form of a demonic baby, opens in theaters this weekend. To promote it, Thinkmodo teamed up with the film’s special effects team to create an animatronic demon baby that could be controlled by remote. They then placed the baby in an unattended stroller and attracted pedestrians to it with recorded crying sounds. The poor, concerned people were rewarded with a rude, terrifying shock as the demon baby revealed itself, screaming and even projectile vomiting. Entertaining stuff, even if it is slightly disturbing.
