Heineken asks men to get sentimental on social media for a #DateInABox on Valentine’s Day

Can’t get your man to open up about how he feels about you? Maybe Heineken can help. The beer brand is running a promotion for Valentine’s Day where it will reward men for revealing their emotions on social media. 

In order to win Heineken’s mystery “Date In A Box,” men can tweet at @Heineken_US requesting it, but there’s a catch. In order to receive the code that opens the box, they’ll have to Instagram a picture of it, declaring their love in the cheesiest possible way, not to mention risking their social media cred.

The box itself will contain a certificate for a prearranged date, which might be a dinner, a class or some other activity, courtesy of Heineken.
