Healthcare Marketers Can Use Sports Tie-In

Healthcare marketers will be able to promote their products and services through a fantasy sports league for physicians and others in pharmaceutical, biotech and other health fields.

CPRi Communications yesterday launched the Healthcare Fantasy Sports League in which healthcare professionals will be able to manage their own team of players in a given sport. They compete against colleagues nationwide in their own specialty for sports-related premiums, including tickets to national play-off/championships events, equipment, Rx-branded clothing items, memorabilia and others.

Sponsorships are available for each sports league and specialty. Sponsors will be able to customize their league Web portals to include banner ads, specialty pop-up windows and other messaging vehicles. Additionally, programs may include custom-designed e-mail marketing campaigns that reinforce brand messaging.

HFSL offers programs for most of the major sports including football, baseball, basketball, hockey and golf.

HSFL will market the program directly to pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and e-health sponsors. In addition to league development and maintenance, HSFL will assist sponsors with physician recruitment through a variety of promotional services, including e-mail, fax broadcasts and direct mail.
