Havas’ 2009 revenue down 8%

Full-year 2009 revenue for Havas, parent company of Euro RSCG and Arnold, dropped 8.1% to $1.92 billion. Organic growth was down 7.9% for the year.

However, the holding company said that its Q4 revenue, which totaled $552 million, dropped 4.4% organically but saw “significant improvement” over the previous quarters.

New business brought in $1.7 billion in 2009. Key new clients in the US included Heineken, IBM, Lacoste, Method and Sprint.

The holding company owns Euro RSCG Worldwide, Arnold Worldwide and MPG in the US, as well as companies in more than 100 countries.
