Harte-Hanks added a Trend Module for its CI Technology Database that provides data on installation growth or reduction for companies in 35 technology product segments, the San Antonio company said yesterday.
Data for the CI Technology Database is gathered monthly when the Harte-Hanks market intelligence team interviews 40,000 information technology buyers at 280,000 IT installations in North America.
The Trend Module features annualized growth rates for each business site in segments including total PCs, total servicers, total phone extensions and total network lines. Growth rates are calculated based on results of interviews with a specific site over time.
Clients use Trend Module information to understand which business sites are growing different components of their IT infrastructure.
In other news, Harte-Hanks said its technology e-mail database now offers addresses for more than 350,000 technology and business contacts in North America. Compiled mainly via phone interviews and confirmed via e-mail, the database provides targeting ability with the use of more than 350 technology and demographic criteria from the CI Technology Database and the latest in e-mail delivery and tracking capabilities.
