Harte-Hanks Inc. announced Friday that it has acquired Sales Support Services Inc., a business-to-business lead generation, order processing and fulfillment services company serving the automotive, energy and other industries.
SSSI's services support its customers' marketing relationships between these customers and their dealer and distributor networks. SSSI has been in business for more than 40 years and has operations in New Jersey, Texas and California. Harte-Hanks, a direct and database marketing services company, is based in San Antonio.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The announcement was made by Richard Hochhauser, president and chief operating officer of Harte-Hanks; Gary Skidmore, president of Harte-Hanks CRM; Steve Dunston, CEO of SSSI; and Jennifer Bohannon, president of SSSI, who will continue as general manager of the SSSI operations.
