Hachette Filipacchi Media has extended Quebecor World's contract to print its core magazine titles, Quebecor said yesterday.
Quebecor will produce all 18 of Hachette Filipacchi's core magazine titles under the “multi-year” contract extension, Quebecor said. Financial terms of the extension, as well as its precise length, were not disclosed.
Quebecor also produces direct mail, spot jobs and books as well as provides pre-media work for Hachette Filipacchi. The two companies have had a relationship for more than 20 years.
Montreal-based Quebecor took over as sole producer of Hachette Filipacchi's production work in the United States when it merged with World Color Press, which formerly handled part of Hachette Filipacchi's U.S. printing, in 1999.
