Green Foods, a health and nutritional product retailer, will start an infomercial campaign this month to promote two new nutritional supplements, the company's DRTV agency, Hawthorne Direct, said yesterday.
The infomercial, titled “The Color of Life,” will promote the Green Foods products Vibrant Woman and Ageless Energy. Hawthorne Direct produced the infomercial and is handling media management on the campaign.
Both products are aimed at adult women. They are packaged together and marketed as products meant to be used in tandem, one in the morning and the other at night.
The infomercial features appearances by Green Foods' nutrition adviser, Bob Terry, who holds a doctorate in pharmacology.
Green Foods, Oxnard, CA, markets food supplements made with barley grass juice. Hawthorne Direct, Fairfield, IA, has served clients including Time Life, Nikon USA, Rotozip Tool Corp., U.S. Navy, Nissan Motor Corp., Taylor Made Golf and Fantom Technologies Direct.
