GoTo.com, a search, shopping and auction portal, launched a national integrated marketing campaign on Friday with the ultimate goal of attracting 10,000 new high-end advertisers by the end of the year.
The four-month campaign is designed to primarily target medium and large companies conducting business on the Web. It consists of traditional direct marketing, opt-in e-mail, referral marketing and online advertising components.
The campaign focuses on the expansive reach of the GoTo network through its recent partnerships with America Online, CompuServe, Netscape and CNET. GoTo claimed that its search results will reach up to 60 million unique users, or roughly 75 percent of the U.S. online audience, once these partnerships are finalized.
