GoSquared launches People Analytics for customer insights

Real-time analytics provider GoSquared released People Analytics, a centralized resource to track customers and their activities across sites and mobile applications.

First reported by TechCrunch, the tool tracks customers across multiple devices, making it easier to identify what resources they are using and how often they use it. It also allows for appending customer social media presences for greater insight into their activities.

The tool can help customer service departments address issues more quickly based on the user’s recent actions and/or devices, and can also help businesses better understand which users are more active than others. For example, a client could send out specific e-mails to groups of customers based on the features they have used or the frequency of their usage.

Users can be identified through e-mail, name or user ID.
