Restaurant chain Godfather’s Pizza named Interpublic Group of Companies Inc.’s ID Media, Los Angeles, to run direct response media buying and planning services.
ID Media will work with Anderson Partners, the Godfather’s Pizza creative agency named to the account in March. Omaha, NE-based Godfather’s Pizza previously handled media duties inhouse.
Responsibilities for ID Media include planning and buying a variety of direct marketing media. This covers ADVO co-op mail, freestanding inserts and mail to support Godfather’s Pizza restaurants in 40 states.
Anderson Partners recommended ID Media to Godfather’s Pizza. The Omaha agency offers services such as marketing consulting, branding, design, advertising, public relations and research for both the Godfather’s Pizza corporate brand and franchisees. Other clients include ConAgra Foods, Woodmen of the World and Methodist Health System.
Godfather’s Pizza includes 75 company-owned restaurants and another 475 run by franchisees. Along with traditional restaurants, the footprint includes airports, convenience stores, travel plazas, military bases and universities.
ID Media has relocated to new offices in Los Angeles on Wilshire Boulevard. ID Media offices offer services like media planning, buying and analysis for direct response television, print, radio, promotional media and the Internet.
With more than 150 employees in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, ID Media serves clients such as Allegra, Time Warner Inc.’s HBO and Lending Tree. It is also the direct response media agency of record for AARP/United Healthcare Insurance Co., Verizon, Johnson & Johnson, American Express Co. and L’Oreal Paris.
