Global-Z awarded Canada Post certification for NCOA services

Global-Z International, a company specializing in the data processing of international mailing addresses for global direct marketers, said it now offers National Change of Address services for Canadian addresses as a newly licensed, non-exclusive Canada Post Mail Service Provider.

Canada Post Corp. reports that each year approximately 1.2 million households (16 percent to 18 percent of the Canadian population) file a Change of Address Notification form with the Canada Post when they move. This data is captured electronically by the Canada Post, which then forms the basis of the National Change of Address service. This service benefits direct marketers by updating their databases with the new address information for those customers who have changed addresses and who have provided their consent.

This information is made available to Bennington, VT-based Global-Z since the company is now a licensee. Through its licensing agreement with Canada Post, Global-Z provides NCOA services for Canadian resident and business addresses.

In addition, the Canada Post licensee award enables Global-Z to enhance its additional address processing services, including postal validation, deduplication (merge/purge), letter carrier presort sortation, and pander file processing (mail preference services).
