Global Mail Acquires International Postal Consultants

Global Mail Ltd., an international mail services company and subsidiary of Deutsche Post AG, Bonn, Germany, announced yesterday it has acquired International Postal Consultants Inc., an international mailing company that provides customized services to publishers, financial institutions, direct marketers and other businesses that require overseas mailing services. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

According to Global Mail, Sterling, VA, the acquisition of IPC, Hanover, MD, will enhance the firm's product offering with added customized services, allowing customers more flexibility in their international mailings. IPC has facilities in Los Angeles and Fairfield, NJ.

Geller, president/CEO of Global Mail. “IPC's core competency reinforces our commitment to provide value-added services to our clients no matter what their international mailing needs.”

In April, Global Mail acquired QuickMail, the international mail division of Quick International Courier, New York, a high-priority shipment specialist.
