ExactTarget, Indianapolis, an e-mail software solutions provider, said yesterday that Gannett Co. Inc., McLean, VA, which operates the largest group of newspapers in the nation by circulation, chose it to be its on-demand e-mail software vendor.
Gannett will use ExactTarget's Enterprise Solution to deliver news, communicate with subscribers and help advertisers reach the right customers through e-mail. It will let Gannett brands, including its community newspapers, television stations and USA Today, send timely, relevant information to customers who sign up to receive information.
