Fulfillment Rides With New Roads' E-Mail Marketing

Fulfillment services firm New Roads has launched an e-mail marketing program called Billboards.

David Himes, senior vice president of New Roads, Greenwich, CT, said companies that want to start e-mail campaigns without worrying about order management will be attracted to his firm's e-mail-fulfillment combination. The two services together allow marketers to alter campaigns because they will see what products become hot or cool on a daily basis, he said.

“Since we can be the sole vendor, it doesn't take 30 days to adjust campaigns if product A is selling better than product B,” he said. “There's no delay.”

Billboards comes with HTML/text e-mail, personalization capabilities, up to 120,000 messages sent per hour, campaign reports and embedded links.

New Roads, which outsources all of its services, partnered with an e-mail marketing vendor to make Billboards possible. It would not disclose the partner or how much it costs.

The company said it has more than 200 retail, distribution and manufacturing clients/partners tapping its fulfillment services.
