Fry Multimedia Picked to Develop Nestle’s Baking Web Site

Nestle USA Inc. last week chose end-to-end marketing and design technology agency Fry Multimedia Inc., Ann Arbor, MI, to design, develop and host its new Very Best Baking Web site at www.Very-BestBaking.com.

Fry was an obvious choice for Nestle after its success in working with numerous clients, including 1-800-Flowers.com, Crate & Barrel, Eddie Bauer and Coach.

Fry said it is creating a concept for the site which features hundreds of recipes, baking tips and personalized recipe boxes for baking enthusiasts as well as beginners.

“We designed and produced the site for people who love to prepare and enjoy fresh-baked goods,” said Diana Madrigal, associate creative director at Fry. “With over 500 recipes, site visitors can try something easy, such as a batch of original Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies, or the Vermont Spice Cake recipe, which is a bit more challenging. By integrating its premier baking brands into a single baking portal, Nestle USA has created a dynamic online baking resource for all levels of bakers. We also included a lot of fun family oriented kitchen activities.”

VeryBestBaking.com has a registration feature that allows users to store favorite recipes, send recipes via e-mail and receive a monthly e-newsletter, Very Best Baking Times, which is co-produced by Fry and Nestle.

Fry employs 250 people at its New York, Chicago, Washington, Seattle and Ann Arbor offices. Other clients include Godiva Chocolatier, Harrods and Eddie Bauer. Established in 1994, Fry remains privately owned.
