Fry Inc. introduced Experience Manager, a drag-and-drop interface to its open commerce platform to help retailers create targeted merchandising and promotional campaigns.
The tool delivers specific campaigns to a targeted segment of customers based on previous shopping behavior. It analyzes customer actions and delivers these responses. Also included is a customizable e-mail template that retailers can use to maintain relationships with beyond shopping online.
Ann Arbor, MI-based Fry’s license-free, e-commerce platform helps retailers develop and manage an online store. It is J2EE-compliant and can run on a number of application servers with multiple systems and databases.
Fry said the tool will help clients focus on customer service, guided selling, social marketing and loyalty. The company’s roster includes Ann Taylor, Brookstone, Crate & Barrel, Eddie Bauer, Godiva, Home Depot, Kmart, Lillian Vernon and Whirlpool.
