FreshAddress, Newton, MA, said yesterday that it is offering free e-mail appending and e-mail change-of-address services to nonprofit organizations raising money for the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
The company will provide updated e-mail addresses to qualifying organizations in five days, according to FreshAddress.
FreshAddress appends e-mail addresses to clients' files from its opt-in database of 200 million records. The updated addresses come from the FreshAddress.com site, where consumers can indicate their current, new, old and preferred e-mail addresses. The company also has partnerships with database providers Acxiom, Equifax and infoUSA.
