Former DoubleClick Exec Named CEO of Blink.com

Blink.com Inc., which offers technology that lets Web users access and share their bookmarks from any Internet-enabled device, has named Eli Chalfin CEO. His appointment is effective immediately.

Chalfin, who left his position as vice president and general manager at DoubleClick Inc.'s DARTmail division in August 2000, succeeds David Siegel as Blink.com's CEO. Siegel will remain chairman of the New York-based company.

“Blink is extremely fortunate to have attracted Eli to lead our company,” Siegel said in a statement. “Eli's unique combination of Internet advertising, direct marketing and business-to-business software experience, as well as his proven leadership and business-building abilities, will dramatically enhance Blink's ability to meet the challenges and opportunities of the rapidly changing technology business environment.”

Chalfin said he plans to commercialize Blink.com's proprietary technology into business and consumer products.
