Forbes today announced it would enter the data analytics marketplace with the Forbes Executive Insight Data, a subscription-based platform that aggregates insights from hundreds of sources and presents it in digestible form for senior executives.
The project is a partnership with Prosper Insight & Analytics, which offers common-language data apps for specific areas such as retail, mobile, media, finance, and overall consumer sentiment.
The Forbes platform is aimed at senior executives at consumer-focused businesses in the U.S. and China. It promises to aid them in making informed and quick business decisions by providing them with the big picture on spending habits, competitive intelligence, and the most effective ways to allocate media budgets.
“By having this information at their fingertips, senior management teams can quickly assess the pulse of the marketplace and make decisions based on evidence rather than gut instinct,” said Forbes Chief Insights Officer Bruce Rogers.
