For all agency-watchers

We’ve been talking a great deal — both amongst ourselves in the DMNews offices and in the magazine — about the idea of “What is a DM agency?” Clearly, whatever that answer is, it includes the notion that DM agencies are changing in a wide variety of ways. So we’re putting together an exciting feature story for our 5/12 issue called “The New Agency — Five Leaders who are Changing the Face of DM.”

We’re looking to profile five agency leaders who have really led the charge to remake their agencies and take them in a new direction when it comes to the changing role of DM…whether it’s a traditional direct marketer who has evolved into a strategic consultancy; a printing services company that has morphed into a marketing agency using data and analysis; search agencies that have turned into a well-rounded online consultants; or a publisher that is now an integrated marketing company.
