Flytxt Neon answers mobile tracking issues

Mobile direct marketing firm Flytxt debuted a technology product called Flytxt Neon.

This platform lets marketers manage their data, send and receive mobile messages, track results in real time and generate reports. It is an ASP product designed to give marketing departments in-house access to all the mobile marketing tools available, according to the London and New York firm.

Flytxt claims 1 billion mobile marketing messages are sent monthly, some with crude targeting and no tracking. Flytxt Neon aims to make mobile marketing more measurable.

Consider its features. Flytxt Neon tracks the number of mobile messages sent and the number of messages received. It also offers detailed reports on the reason for non-deliverable messages.

Also, for broadcasts with WAP-push, Flytxt Neon tracks how many consumers click through to WAP landing pages and sales confirmation pages. It reports the value of the resulting sales, too.

This way, Flytxt Neon users can track successful billing, with each consumer’s profile automatically updated to record a sale. Mobile marketers therefore can check their return on investment and target key customers with more promotions, incentives and special offers.
