Flynt Publications List Mix-Up Outrages Parents

Larry Flynt Publications Inc., Los Angeles, angered parents last week when it mistakenly sent an adult publication to the subscribers of Big Brother skateboarding magazine.

The mostly teen-age readers received a hardcode S&M pornography magazine called Taboo instead of the skate mag.

The error occurred as the result of a Flynt Publications employee's accidentally switching the address labels of the two subscription lists and forwarding them to the printer for application and mailing. The responsible employee has been terminated, and letters of apology have been issued to Big Brother subscribers and their parents.

It is unknown how many subscribers were affected by the mistake. Flynt Publications could not be reached for comment.
