Firstlogic Upgrade Allows Foreign Address Validation

Firstlogic Inc., La Crosse, WI, a mail automation and information quality software and services provider, announced the latest release of its DeskTop Mailer software.

DeskTop Mailer, designed for small business, is CASS and PAVE certified by the U.S. Postal Service and allows postal discounts through presorting. It also automatically prepares documentation to support presorts, helps create and manage mailing lists and prints labels and reports. The software also offers address correction.

DeskTop Mailer version 7.10 lets mailers verify and correct addresses outside the United States in a real-time environments.

Other new features include support for the postal service's Confirm program, support for co-packaging and the introduction of a new text driver to enable the production of mailing labels with barcodes on any printer with on-board postnet barcode font.
