Fingerhut Cos. Inc., Minnetonka, MN, named Amy DiGeso president of its Popular Club general merchandise catalog division.
DiGeso, a former CEO of Mary Kay Inc., will focus on expanding the membership-based catalog’s geographic reach nationally from its current base in the Northeast, in addition to enhancing its database and Internet marketing and proprietary credit card capabilities.
DiGeso spent seven years at May Kay, including two as CEO, and also has held management posts at American Express, Estee Lauder and Banker’s Trust.
Fingerhut, a cataloger and database marketer, was acquired earlier this year by Federated Department Stores, parent of Macy’s, Bloomingdales’ and other retailers.
