FedEx Corp. will increase its rates by 5.5 % for its FedEx Freight trucking division on January 14. The company cited a 6% drop in less-than-truckload shipments with FedEx Freight in its second-quarter earnings. The increase follows increases at the shipper’s FedEx Express and FedEx Ground divisions.
